How do I start a game?
In the Backgammon Lobby click on the tab bars to switch between the different rooms. Currently we have four rooms: "Match", "Single Game", "Sit & Go" and "Tournaments". Once in the room of your choice, you can choose your preferred stake. You can then either sit down at an empty table (just double-click on the table line) and wait for an opponent. You can also join a waiting player with a double-click or register for a jackpot or tournament (if open for registration).
What happens if I am disconnected in the middle of a game?
You get 5 minutes to come back to the game. If you can't get back on time, Snowie settles the position. You can read more about our Snowie settlements here. However, keep in mind that there is no Snowie settlement for jackpots and tournaments (once you time out your opponent wins the match).
Are the dice fair?
FrogPoker uses a random number generator that is based on a hardware diode. This method offers our customers the most truly random dice in existence; even precision dice could not come close to this.
I would like to save my session chat, is that possible?
Yes, just right-click in the chat field and you'll be prompted to save the chat.
I see all those tournaments and would like to join. How can I do that?
Registration for our tournaments usually opens ½ hour before the tournament starts, for big events it can be extended to an hour; the actual time is displayed in the "registration" column. To register, just double-click on the tournament, agree to the rules and you're ready to play!
I don't seem to have access to the doubling cube, why's that?
This is because a) you have activated the "automatic roll" feature or b) it's the crawford game in a match or c) the game is DMP (Double Match Point) because of the score and the level of the cube or d) your opponent already owns the cube.
